Lech Poznań - Wisła Kraków
This game between Lech Poznań and Wisła Kraków is the best match in 21st round, but I don't see this one as a 50-50 match or even quite tight meeting; guests should be favorites here without a doubt. Hosts are of course really solid, have thirty eight points so far, being on fourth place, but nowadays they just don't look as good as before winter break. They are fighting for UEFA or Intertoto spot, so need points like an air, especially that rivalry is quite big (Groclin, Legia, Korona and Bełchatów), but I can't see them to grab three points here although home side is a big card for them as they have one of the best fans in Poland. In last two round they didn't played good as draws against Widzew Łódź (1-1) and Zagłębie Lubin (0-0) at home are not satisfactory for them and even coach Franciszek Smuda said that there is something wrong with his players. I can say that they didn't make any transfers as both – players in (Tomasz Bandrowski and Anderson) and players out (Iljan Micanski, Arkadiusz Czarnecki, Tomasz Midzierski and Dawid Florian) are more or less useless for Lech. In this game they have only one player out – Ivan Djurdjevic, who is starter defender, but I don't think that it is important miss as Poznań's rooster is quite long. On the other hand Wisła Kraków is just much better team than opponents and even away from home I can't imagine them to lose this one as one points is really minimal achievement here. They had impressive first round with 15-2-0 balance and now they are continue in this way as well and at the moment their rooster is much better than before winter transfers. They bought few great players like Radosław Matusiak, Wojciech Łobodziński or Junior Diaz, who are just stars in Orange Ekstraklasa; first two are starters in national team. They lost also few solid players like Piotr Cwielong, Jacob Burns or Micheal Thwaite, but with such rooster they were just useless, even that last two are Australian representants. So far in last three matches they had two wins, with GKS Bełchatów (2-0) and Widzew Łódź (1-0) and one draw, with Korona Kielce (1-1) so for me they are in quite good form. They should be better and better following each round as they will be more adjusted to working together as overall they have huge potential. They are thinking about Champions League, so I think that Lech Poznań, shouldn't be big problem for them, however motivation can be quite low as they are fourteen points above second Groclin Grodzisk. What is interesting Wisła didn't lose with this opponent last three times in a row in league (4-2, 0-0 and 3-3), so this one should be really similar.
